Biography: John Fisherman (John Randolph Reid) was born in Denver, Colorado. He was a wrestling fan since he was eight. After graduating from university, John immediately began training to become a professional wrestler. Although he was unsuccessful in his debut, he eventually moved to England, where he established himself as a technical grappler, becoming a fan favourite in such a short period of time. However, upon receiving his big break in the United States, he took a rather unexpected heel turn, and quickly became one of the most hated men in wrestling, in and out of the ring. To this day, he has remained arrogant heel, highly confident in himself and ignorant to the negative reactions of the fans that once cheered him. After a rather abysmal run in MPW however, his arrogance has grown to the point where he believes himself to be the true king of the world of wrestling.
Entrance Description: As the opening riff of "John the Fisherman" echoes across the arena, John Fisherman reveals himself on the stage. John simply stares into the crowd in disdain. He starts walking down the ramp. As he arrives at ringside he stops for a brief moment to stare at a random member of the crowd who is not ashamed to express his hatred for him. In response John simply shakes his head and resumes, making his way up the stairs and enters the ring through the top and middle ropes. He then stands in the center of the ring, where John finally does his signature pose.
